Each element of this project will be evaluated on its own however one grade will be assigned for the project as a whole, with an appropriate weight reflecting the work required on your report card. All four portions of this assignment need to complete in order to receive a grade for this project. If any are missing a grade of incomplete will be assigned

 

Each chart used to organize your research will be worth twenty percent of the overall grade. Attached is the rubric that will be used to grade the assignment.  

 

The informal writing assignment for part one will be marked based on completion. This completion mark will only be awarded once work appropriate for the grade level and at the standards set in this class is presented. (If it is done improperly, you will be asked to redo this portion before your overall grade is assigned)  

 

The position paper will be marked as per the attached rubric. This portion of the assignment will be worth 60% of the overall grade.

 

All work carried out in groups will have one grade assigned to the group as a whole. If issues arise within your group about the amount of work an individual is contributing please inform myself and we discuss ways to address the issue.
