Webquest project for EDSE 452
Part one of this assignment you will be working in groups creating a visual representation of the effects one ailment has on an individual’s health overall. You will be looking at the connections between the various systems within the human body. In your groups you will also identify one medical condition that could have caused the failure and what other symptoms the individual wold be experience, this will be conveyed in a write up. A bibliography will needed to be included for any sources used, regardless if they are found on this webquest. You may also choose to do an ailment not listed however it will need to be mutually agreed on by myself the teacher and your group as a whole. This part will be used as background research for part two as well as marked separately.
Part two, you have the choice to work individually or in your groups. You will need to be provide a chart showing the preventative and corrective steps that could be taken by the individual to mitigate the effects of their condition. You will need to compose a position paper outlining which method you think is most beneficial, the reasoning must consider the individuals health, financially, and why method may be used by an individual. Only the chart can be composed as a group, collaboration is encouraged for the paper but must be written individually. Your position paper should be convincing and show the complexity of the issue in relation to the condition you have researched.
